Due to the Fed­er­al Gov­ern­ment Shut­down, the Gov­er­nors Island Nation­al Mon­u­ment sites (Fort Jay and Cas­tle Williams) are closed until fur­ther notice. Gov­er­nors Island sites oper­at­ed by the Trust for Gov­er­nors Island, includ­ing open spaces and all oth­er pro­gram­ming are oper­at­ing as nor­mal, and fer­ry ser­vice remains unim­pact­ed.
