The Trust for Gov­er­nors Island stands for respect, equi­ty, and cre­at­ing an inclu­sive, wel­com­ing envi­ron­ment for all. That means tak­ing an explic­it stance against racism, dis­crim­i­na­tion, vio­lence and hate. We believe these things have no place in our soci­ety, nor here on our shore.

We cel­e­brate and hon­or the strength of the diver­si­ty, his­to­ries and cul­tur­al rich­ness of our vis­i­tors, part­ners, and col­leagues, and strive to uphold these val­ues at the core of all the work we do.

Our jour­ney on the path of access, equi­ty, and inclu­sion for all is ongo­ing, and our com­mit­ment to build­ing com­mu­ni­ty and fos­ter­ing under­stand­ing is unwavering.
