About Soissons Landing

Soissons Landing District, on the northern shore of Governors Island, features a series of brick buildings of a variety of sizes, ages, and configurations with superb views of the Manhattan skyline. Soissons Landing, in the center of this district, will continue to be the arrival point for ferries from Manhattan. These buildings once functioned as offices, apartments, and support spaces, and could be easily converted for permissible residential, cultural, educational, and commercial uses. The landing consists of a series of public plazas with landscaping and orientation signage.
