Urban Farm - Urban Farm
Visit to learn the secrets of honey and native bees, which help pollinate our food and are essential to countless ecosystems. Observe bees in hives, cavity-houses and in-ground habitats; meet NYC beekeepers; take home native wildflower seed packets; engage in arts and crafts; and discover ways to keep bees healthy and thriving.
The Bee Conservancy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting bees, safeguarding the environment, and securing food justice through community-based education, research, habitat creation, and advocacy. After a decade as The Honeybee Conservancy, the organization relaunched as The Bee Conservancy in 2020 to better capture an expanded mission to protect all bee species around the world. The organization strives towards a day when all bee populations thrive in protected habitats and are supported by an engaged global network.
